GPSC (Gujarat public service commission) is a board which conducts exams for various posts including DY SO/DY MAMLATDAR.
GPSC conducts the Prelims and Mains Examination for the post of Deputy Section Officer. The candidates need to start preparing for the exam right away to secure a position among the limited vacancies

GPSC DYSO Exam Pattern and syllabus

It is always advisable to be familiar with the exam pattern beforehand. The exam pattern will help you prepare the exam better by giving an outline of which topic carries the maximum marks and which paper is of less duration so that you can prepare accordingly. The GPSC DYSO Exam is held in 2 stages:

Preliminary Examination:

The paper will have Objective type of Questions

For the Preliminary Examination, 1 paper of General Studies having objective type questions (MCQs) is held. It is of 200 marks with time limit of 2 hours and it covers topics, such as History, Current Affairs, Cultural Heritage, General Science, Indian Economy, etc.

Mains Examination-

The papers will of Subjective type
The written Mains Examination consists of 4 papers, including General English, General Gujarati, and General Studies 1 & 2. The papers will be

subjective type and will be of 100 marks each with time duration of 3 hours for each paper
